The course is specifically designed for children in 3rd to 5th grade (ages 8-11) who have zero prior experience with the guitar. This age group has the right blend of developing motor skills and attention span for focused, fun lessons. If your child is slightly older or younger, please email me to see if it's a good fit!
💻 Are the lessons truly self-paced, and what technology is required?
Yes, the 12-Week Jumpstart is 100% self-paced and accessible 24/7. Your child can go as fast or as slow as they need, with the ability to rewatch any lesson. All you need is a stable internet connection and a laptop, tablet, or desktop computer to view the videos.
🛑 What if my child gets stuck or needs help during a lesson?
I provide robust support! Every enrollment includes access to a private online community where kids (and parents) can post questions, share videos, and get feedback. I also monitor this group and provide direct feedback to ensure no child gets left behind.
🎵 What will my child be able to play after completing the course?
This 12-week course provides your child with the skills they'll need to search for and play any favorite song.
🎵 What if my child does the first lesson and hates it? Can I get my money back?
Try the first lesson absolutely free! I want you and your child to love the journey. Once the full course begins, you still have 7 days to explore. If it’s not the right fit, I’ll provide a full refund—no questions asked. (Please note: no refunds are available after the first 7 days).
🎶 How much time will my child need to dedicate to practice each week?
I believe consistency beats marathon sessions! I recommend 10 to 15 minutes of practice, 3 to 5 times per week. These lessons are designed to be short and active, preventing frustration and making it easy to fit into a busy family schedule.

📍 Do you have to start on a specific date?
No, your child can start any time and learn at their own pace.
🎸 Does my child need their own guitar to start?
Yes, having a guitar is necessary for practice and participation. For 3rd-5th graders, we strongly recommend a 3/4 size acoustic guitar to ensure comfort and proper technique. It does not need to be an expensive model; a starter pack from a reputable brand works perfectly.
🎵 What if my child does the first lesson and hates it? Can I get my money back?
Since the very first lesson is completely free, there is no risk at all! If they decide it's not for them after that first session, you haven't spent a dime. Even after you officially start the course, you still have a full 7 days to make sure it's a perfect fit before your commitment becomes final.
